Paper conforming to BS1521 Class A

Building paper may be used on smooth decking materials such as plywood providing that the underside of the decking is ventilated. It is also a suitable underlay for smooth concrete, stone or screeded surfaces to prevent corrosive attack on the underside of the lead sheet caused by the release of free alkali from the drying cement.
