Lead In Batteries
Over 70% of lead in the world is used in lead acids batteries. Calder are a manufacturer of lead battery posts for stand by power uses. The internet, hospitals and cellular communications will not work without the aid of lead acid batteries in stand by power and relay situations.
Car and motorbike batteries are constructed using lead terminals some of which are made by our sister company Rohr & Stolberg GmbH.
Calder are able to manufacture lead bushings, along with complex terminals for golf carts and wheelchairs etc.
