Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Middlesex

Calder was asked to provide lead radiation shielding for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Middlesex for the first CyberKnife® in an NHS hospital. This project required the highest levels of radiation shielding to ensure complete elimination of any ‘shine paths’. Calder’s Chevron Rail System was chosen for the installation of the lead bunker which took just 8 weeks.

Calder provided a professional, proactive and efficient service. They completed on time and within specification to our high standards.
