Calder wins MOD contract
Calder has been awarded the contract to supply components to the MOD via a UK based blue chip organisation after a long qualification process during which our products were tested against world wide competition,
During the difficult and challenging process, Calder was praised for its flexibility and willingness to do what was necessary to achieve the stringent performance criteria of the MOD. A unique skill set and over 250 years of lead expertise, combined with the performance of Calder’s sample product and “can do” attitude, ensured our eventual victory.
Production will begin in August and will utilise £500k of specialised machinery purchased to accommodate this project and others like it in the future.
